It was a nightly occurance at our house for years until this past year I started something new and it's been HEAVEN! First of all, when I tell the kids goodnight and tuck them in, I remind them that I will see them in the MORNING. I remind them that my door will be locked until the sun comes out but as soon as they see the sun, they can come hop in our bed with us! It has worked like MAGIC! They absolutely KNOW that if it is still dark outside, they have to stay in their bed...but as soon as light starts peeking through the window, they can freely come and get in our bed. We really do lock our door every night because it ensures us our privacy..and keeps them out.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10038454792972449216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31605076.post-1737231919567316582008-08-23T10:01:00.000-05:002008-08-23T10:01:00.000-05:00that is supposed to read this TOO shall pass...:)that is supposed to read this TOO shall pass...
:)torihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09318455950514495423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31605076.post-68860289844074772382008-08-23T10:00:00.000-05:002008-08-23T10:00:00.000-05:00hey you! i totally understand what you're going t...hey you! i totally understand what you're going through and all i can say is this oo shall pass. we have experienced night time wakings with all of the kids at one time or another, and it was a phase we all had to get through. as far as the guilt? that never ends. just had a struggle with that myself this past week when elijah told me on sunday he didn't want hot lunch at school and i let him know it would be fine to go ahead and have it. well low and behold that night (monday) he was throwing up and complained it was from lunch at school.... boy that did a number on me! well know i am here if you need to chat....
love,
your neighbor.torihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09318455950514495423noreply@blogger.com
