Leaving So Soon...

Today I found out Cooper is moving to the Tiny Toddler room in two weeks! Which means he will be surrounded by one-year olds who walk. Which means he could very well start walking. Which means my baby keeps slipping away.

On a plus, our tuition is going down about $15.00 a week. That is $60.00 a month!

I Don't Understand The Obsession

I noticed in Sam's classroom they wrote about where would they drive in their imaginary car. Sam wrote he would go to Walgreen's and Grandmas. I understand the Grandma but Walgreen's?

Them Are Fighting Words...

Samuel picked up a new phrase at school this week. And he loves repeating it over and over..

"BOOMER SOONER"

I think Dave is ready to pack us up and move to Nebraska :o).

What Next..

This morning when I went to get you, you were sitting up in your crib. Then today when I picked you up at school you had pulled yourself up and were standing. And crawling, we can't keep you in one place. If you see something you want it and you go for it. All of this seemed to happen over night. Oh yeah, and your tooth it is cutting through now too.
I don't want you to grow up too fast. You can slow down, I think I have had enough excitement for a bit.

Today...

Cooper's afternoon teacher told me that Cooper's pants were too small. She said he was having trouble moving around and that he needs elastic because he is a big boy. She said he wants to move around and needs to be comfortable. They were size 18-24 months! But I know she is right. To be honest, I am glad she felt comfortable enough to tell me his pants were to small. Kind of like she was talking to her own daughter.

Not that ANYONE could replace my Mom!!! But it is nice to know the people who are with my boys so much, care so much. Yes, because she told me his pants were too small.

Double Ear Infection

Busted!

Last night Samuel built another one of his houses. I told him his house was messy! So to clean it he began piling everything up on the couch. Here is how I got busted:

Daddy: Sam, you clean like your Mommy.
Sam: Yep!
Daddy: Is that your closet?
Sam: Yep!

Today with Cooper home sick I am cleaning...the closet.

Oh The Places We Can Go!

Two is fun, yes there are the dreaded "terrible twos" and we have those moments, but two is fun. Lately we have started to explore the world of pretend and that is a lot of fun. At school Sam is learning about things that go. One week it was trains, so Sam kept making trains and blowing his horn. Last week it was planes so we spent a lot of time pretend packing. Today it was a car. Sam was the driver and I was the passenger and he decided we were going to Walgreen's. Before Sam started driving he stopped and said:
Wait, I need my phone!

I don't know where he gets it. Oh and by the way yes that is the pretend car in the picture. It can also be considered a pretend house, train and plane. Just depends on his mood.
