My Sam Likes To Potty all the Time, Potty all the Time...

Sam is, what I consider, potty trained. Wouldn't you if he went an entire week having only two accidents!!??!!! And one of those was at night which doesn't even count.

I guess they were right (they being the "experts" who always try to give advice), when he is ready he will do it.

He did it!

Fight Back

Well, I knew it would happen. One day Cooper would get fed up and fight back.

Cooper's teachers have told Dave, on more than one occasion that Cooper doesn't like to share. Well they put it a little nicer, "When Cooper finds a toy in the morning it is his for the rest of the day". I can't say I am surprised he is known to sit on his brother when he takes a toy from him and scream mine mine mine! Sam just sits there and yells for us to get him off. Sam has always been my passive aggressive one, Cooper not at all. I have been telling Sam for awhile now that one day Cooper is going to let him steal toys. I guess one day is here. At least he still has his sweet side.

I find it so interesting how different they can be. I guess I just thought I would have two of the same model.

A BIG Truck

Sam got to play with a real firetruck this morning. They were buying their groceries too. He was in ahhhh at how big it was.

He Grew Up.

Things I Say, That I don't Really Mean

Mommy: If you don't stop, I am going to pop this ball. (as we drove home and Sam cried for the ball I had just bought)
Sam: Pop the ball Mommy.
(I was not about to pop the ball that I just spent $3.00 on)

Mommy: If you don't go potty before we leave, you will have to wear a diaper.
Sam: Get me a diaper Mommy.
(I DID NOT PUT HIM IN A DIAPER)

My Child...

Sam: No, I am going to watch Daddy wash the car from up here. I don't want to get my new clothes wet.

Don't Quit Your Day Job

That is what I thought tonight, sorry I know it sounds bad.

I picked up Sam and Cooper today and that is when it started. I got to Sam's room and noticed he was in his back up clothes. Then we couldn't find his paper, which was fine to me, but to Sam it was unacceptable. One of the teachers finally found it and he was happy. I wasn't, it gave me no information that I needed. I need to know when he goes potty if he has an accident what time and how many. If I ask Sam he says 1. I don't believe him. Anyway, we left and Sam had a fit in the parking lot because wanted candy and when I picked him up I noticed he had a pull-up on. Seriously?? Errrrrrr! This in no way supports my potty training mission. The only defense I have for them is that we only picked up one spare of clothes yesterday and today and there must have been more. But wait folks, there is more. When we got home the fits continued and he yelled at me and stuck his tongue out. This went on for about an hour. Then when I took him to go potty, noticed he pottied in his pull-up.

We finally ate dinner and then it was bath time. Cooper is in the bath and I have Sam sitting on the toilet trying to poop. Sam never did poop, but Cooper did...in the bath. Then I had to take him out, Dave cleaned the bath and it was Sam's turn for a bath. He cried. Of course.

Finally got them both to bed. I think this has been one of my more challenging Mommy nights. I wanted to go back to work.

Weekend here I come!!!!!!! I feel better, venting always helps.

I love you boys!
