Proud

Samuel is very proud of his 2.5 teeth and chocolate donut.

Samuel's daycare had a funny story. In the "big boy" Tiny Toddlers room they don't have cribs. I have no idea how they can get 12 1 year olds to sleep on a cot for nap time, but that isn't the point and probably why they have that job and not me. Well, the process is they take 2 tiny toddlers over that at a time, pat their backs and then they fall asleep (sounds way too easy). Samuel is just like his Mommy if something is going on he needs to know what it is and be the first to know. Therefore, if Samuel is not in the first group of two to go over for a nap he gets very upset. Does he not realize that they aren't going over the to play or eat crackers, they are going to take a nap???

Samuel has adjusted to the Tiny Toddler Room. He has won the hearts of his teachers and no more tears when Daddy takes him in the morning. When I picked him up the other day he had his teachers sunglasses and a toy cell phone. Yep, he has established his "being the favorite" status once again. At least I think he has.

Have a wonderful weekend!

The Video!

The proof is just a click away :o).

Not that you needed proof but I couldn't think of any creative thing to say. By the way, with walking comes falling. Samuel has had 2 accident reports from school this week from bumping his head while trying to get from point A to point B.

Samuel had his first sleepover at Auntie Terri's last night. So I got to sleep in until 8:00!! I miss him though! And when called my sister this morning at 8:01, he was still asleep!!! Why does he wake up at 6:00 at home?

Before we left him there yesterday he had Cheetos for the first time with his cousin Aaron. Thus, the orange mouth above. When I called last night he had also had popcorn for the first time too. She is soooo the cool aunt. I think he can spend the night more often. And after I explained to my sister that he would probably cry when I left and not to take it personal because he just really loves his Mommy and I am the only one for him; he didn't even cry. Didn't wave, didn't run to the door, didn't pound on the window for me to come back, just ate his Cheetos and played with his cousins. He is so grown up, a big 13 month old! Time flies.

Frisbee??

He Did It!

Samuel made it all day in the Tiny Toddler Room! But, I think he learned to scream because he seemed to do a lot of that tonight. Hmmm.

I would just like to dedicate a post to A'nya Brilynn McComb. She was taken too soon!

A'nya was born in God's hands on July 27, 2007.

Say a little prayer for her and Mommy!

It is my kicks you will always remember,
I who gave you heartburn that a dragon would envy,
I who couldn't seem to tell time and got your days
And nights mixed up.
I who never had a doubt about your love,
It is I who was able put a lifetime of joy
Into an instant.

In loving member of A'nya.

Steppin' Up

We are getting closer to walking. The problem his he lacks patience. Samuel would rather just take off than get his balance. But he can take about 5 steps and that is pretty good.
